Wilhelmina is West CAP’s first Nursing Skills participant to graduate and secure a career in the medical field! Wilhelmina received her Technical Diploma from Northwood Technical College in Medical Assistant Program on May 19, 2023. She was able to start a job as a Medical Assistant for Westfields Hospital & Clinic in New Richmond, WI on May 22, 2023.
Through the Nursing Skills program, West CAP was able to help Wilhelmina with her tuition and fees as well as assist with the cost of childcare while she attended classes. Wilhelmina is better able to support her family and now has access to medical benefits through her new job. She has increased her hourly wages by $18.27 by obtaining her job as a Medical Assistant. We wish her all the best in her new career!
