Help us end the cycle of poverty in OUR community. Donate today to support our friends and neighbors across west central Wisconsin who are experiencing a financial crisis, facing homelessness or struggling to provide the basic needs of daily living for their family.  West CAP is a 501(c)3 charitable organization.  All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.  Letters of receipt will be provided to all donors.

Make A Donation


By leveraging government funding with local resources, your support helps us address our community’s most pressing needs. Donations can be made in general or to support a specific program that you care about most.

  • General Fund: A donation to this fund provides the most flexibility for our agency and is directed where it is needed most.
  • Specific Program: You can designate your donation to any specific program offered by West CAP or designate a percentage of your donation across multiple West CAP programs. See the list of programs on our online Make A Donation page.
  • Long-term Gifts to a West CAP Endowment Fund: If you would like your donation to be invested into an endowment fund to support West CAP’s programs and mission long-term, consider donating to one of our local endowment funds. We hold one with the St. Croix Valley Foundation and one with the Community Foundation of Dunn County.
  • Gifts of Stock and other Assets: To make a gift of stock, real estate, other assets, or to make a multi-year pledge, please contact our Executive Director Peter Kilde, pkilde@wcap.org.

  • If you wish to designate your gift to a specific program, you can indicate that on the memo line, otherwise your donation will go to the General Fund/Where Needed Most.
  • Matching Gifts and Volunteer Grants Employer matching
  • This is one of the easiest ways to double or even triple your donation and maximize your charitable giving! Ask your HR representative if your employer matches gifts.
